Product Description
Sino-NSH-CP series is a disc-type centrifugal oil purification system combining thermal conditioning, precision filtration, and high-speed centrifugal separation. Available in capacities from 1500 L/H to 6000 L/H, this series is purpose-built for the marine and power generation industries to remove water, solid particles, and oxidation byproducts from fuel oil, lubricating oil, and other mineral oils.
The CPPA model features partial-auto discharge — sludge is ejected automatically at preset intervals, while the clean oil and separated water exit through independent outlets. This reduces operator intervention and ensures consistent purification output during extended engine room or power station operation. Additionally, the separator can process two immiscible liquids with different specific gravities, making it suitable for bilge water treatment and waste oil recovery applications.
How Disc Centrifugal Separation Works
The CP series employs a high-speed rotating bowl (7,200 RPM typical) containing a stack of conical discs. As contaminated oil enters the bowl, centrifugal force exceeding 8,000 G causes:
- Water (higher specific gravity) to migrate outward toward the bowl periphery and exit through a separate water discharge port.
- Solid particles to accumulate on the inner bowl wall as sludge, automatically ejected at programmed intervals.
- Clean oil (lowest specific gravity) to flow inward through the disc stack and exit through the centripetal pump at the bowl center.
This three-phase separation (oil-water-solids) occurs continuously during operation without filter element replacement, unlike conventional media-based filtration systems.
